Mindwise SOS
SOS (Signs of Suicide®) is an evidence-based youth suicide prevention program that has demonstrated an improvement in students’ knowledge and adaptive attitudes about suicide risk and depression. It has also shown a 64% reduction in self-reported suicide attempts.

A web application for teachers and mental health professionals.
The goal for this site was to upgrade the interface design and suability of the online web portal to be as simple and easy to use as possible. Teachers can log in with their school’s credentials and use this tool to educate themselves, and their students on the sensitive topic of suicide prevention. There are separate areas for teacher preparation, class delivery, and a resource library of downloadable support materials.
The new Portal has been deployed successfully to rave reviews about the improved user interface. A big thank you for your patience, expertise and helping us execute this seamlessly! And the new site not only looks amazing but is a giant improvement for our end users. As always, you have been great to work with and I appreciate our partnership.
Easy to Use Chapter System
We designed a web interface that was logical and easy to use for teachers and other metal health professionals. The tool allows teachers to present the program over a series of classes where they can jump back into specific sessions and topics.
Built-in Lessons
We built a framework that supports a variety of content, from slides to videos. Most program chapters contain in-class assignments such as worksheets and discussions, but in some cases, they also needed interactive lessons that teachers could quickly access.
In addition to the Mindwise SOS portal, we also built the Mindwise Shopify site, offering products for teachers and students containing a comprehensive approach to mental health, substance use, and suicide prevention. We created several page designs that inherit the Mindwise aesthetic and provide a seamless shopping experience.
The Results
The new SOS portal is now very easy to use, and extremely easy for Mindwise staff to update and maintain. It all works well responsively on any screen size as well.
