Elements that really make Olivio’s responsive website design stand out are the custom designed recipe collection, special typographic treatments, and custom photography. Metropolis also designed and built the product locator tool by integrating APIs from IRi and Google Maps. At the same time, we are working on a number of integrated marketing campaigns that encourage social media engagement and drive traffic to Olivio’s website.
Just like fine wine, olive oils have a taste and bouquet all their own. At Olivio, our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from the very first pressing of only high quality olives…olives that we’ve grown and cared for on our own fields in Spain. Try Olivio and appreciate the subtle flavor of what extra virgin olive oil produced from only premium Mediterranean olives tastes like.
A searchable database of Olivio recipes
Recipes can be filtered by category, searched by keyword, or the user can choose, “Inspire Me” for a random recipe selection. Each recipe has it’s own page with ingredients, directions, and videos and images.
Engaging with the customer in a fun and memorable way
Olivio has periodic contests to drive customer engagement. For Olivio’s Instagram Challenge, customers were encouraged to post photos of themselves with the Olivio product. The website aggregated all entries and eventually displayed the winner.
Custom-formatted API results show nearby stores
We connected to the IRi Worldwide database to pull nearby store locations and plot them on a Google Map. Results were formatted to match the look and feel of Olivio’s website.
The Communicator Award
A successful rebrand of the website defines Olivio as a brand that merges family gatherings and the goodness of Mediterranean olive oil.
